Welcome Message From GBCC

Welcome to Great Baddow Cricket Club's official website. (Our website is currently undergoing reconstruction)

We are a family friendly cricket club that provides cricket for all! We welcome all ages and genders from 5 years old and all abilities from being brand new to the game to the most experienced.

We now have a growing Women's & Girls squad which we are always looking to add players to of ALL abilities. Our W&G take part in both softball and hardball cricket. Why not come along and give it a go?

If you are interested in joining a cricket club, then look no further. Just get in touch and one of our friendly committee will help you through the process and provide you with all the information you need to become part of our cricket club family.

At GBCC we have no fewer than 19 qualified coaches from foundation level right up to level 3 who coach, manage and run all our youth section on various evenings during the week. Our coaching team is managed and supported by David Byford, our own level 3 coach, who oversees all of our youth progression.

Training Schedule
Great Baddow Cricket Club Spring & Summer Training Schedule

Our training sessions take place at our net facility based at Baddow Recreation Ground. Remember to arrive about 10 minutes before the official start time.

Monday:
Adult training and Under 17's from 6:00pm
Tuesday:
Women & Girls over 14 years from 6:00pm
Wednesday:
Under 9's 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Under 15's 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Thursday:
Under 11's 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Under 13's 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Friday:
For all under 10's and below - Softball practice 6:00pm to 7:00pm
