Great Baddow Cricket Club

Great Baddow - Under 15s won through against a good Hutton side in a very close indoor league final.

Baddow won the toss and elected to field first. Hutton finished on 115-5 with Albie Nuttall taking an impressive 3 for 17 from 3 overs which included a very rare indoor maiden over.

When it came to the run chase our boys judged it perfectly. Ollie Phillips and Arun Olivelle both set the foundation with retirements at 25. Some smart hitting and running brought Arun back to the crease and with a single ball to spare he hit the winning run to secure a fine victory for Baddow.
It was a fantastic final with both sides displaying some excellent cricket throughout and the tight finish was exactly what the game deserved.
